We LOVE easy cocktails and none are easier than adding a fruity frozen pop to a glass of sparkling wine. This Fourth of July Pop Pop is a super fun homemade version, but we’re huge fans of using pre-made pops as well. Some of our favorite combos are strawberry-rhubarb pops with Rosé, pineapple or passionfruit pops with Brut Classic and grapefruit-mint pops with Sweet Star. To make your own, you’ll need pop maker molds, but they’re easy to find.
- 1 pint blueberries
- 1 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced or thin slices of watermelon cut into shapes
- 1/2 honeydew melon, cut into thin slices or shapes
- 1 (750ml) bottle
Divide the blueberries, strawberries (or watermelon) and honeydew melon between six pop molds. Fill with the lemonade, leaving room at the top for it to expand as it freezes. Finish according the directions of the pop maker.
Divide the Rosé among six wine glasses. Carefully remove the pops from the molds, place in each glass of Rosé and serve.
